How we help assistance dog teams:

DogMap was created by nonprofit Pfotenpiloten during our three-year campaign for the German Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. It has been growing ever since.

Proceeds and donations support Assistance Dog Foundation. The Foundation’s goal is to provide independent, comprehensive quality assurance and establish support for qualified assistance dog teams.

Both the creators of DogMap, Pfotenpiloten, and Assistance Dog Foundation do not train assistance dogs and are strictly independent. This allows us to keep the interests of all parties in mind: Those of the handlers, as well as of the dogs, the trainers, the public, and the funders.
